Sorochinskaya Yarmarka 2015

 If you get to Poltava region in the end of August, you will have the great opportunity to become the participant of a famous Sorochinskaya Yarmarka (fair in Velykie Sorochintsy village), that bears the National status since 1999. Here you can buy various handicrafts: Reshetilovsky embroidery and carpets, Oposhnyansky ceramics, protecting medallions from Dikan’ka, you will see enthralling sight with dramatic heroes from Nikolay Gogol works. After all, it’s not just a fair, where you buy or sell something; it’s a funny holiday, a real performance in the open air…

Program:

1^st day

10.30 Gathering the group on the railway station Poltava Kievskaya. Move to Dikan’ka.

13.00 Meet «Gogol’s heroes» with short performance. Lunch, move to Velykie Sorochintsy, visiting the fair.

18.00 Gathering the group. Move to V. Bagachka, dinner on the bank of the river Psel. You can take a bath in one of the cleanest river in Poltava region.

21.00 Gathering the group – return to Poltava.

22.00 Overnight at the hotel.

2^nd day

10.30 Gathering the group. Departure for the city tour.

13.00 Lunch in city café (for extra cost).

15.00 Visiting historical and cultural reserve «Battle field in Poltava».

17.00 Return to Poltava, departure from the railway station «Poltava Kievskaya».
